FLUEGE.DE CALLI AND THE TOONS
Famous German soccer coach Reiner Calmund is the new figurehead of the best-price flight search website "Flüge.de". The eye-catching TVCs feature live action footage with funny cartoon elements like in "Who framed Roger Rabbit".
I was introduced to the production company Commlab by director Paul Kneer. My job was to design and animate all three main clips of the campaign as animation director.
CHRISTMAS FILM ANIMATON DIRECTION
Live action feature film "Als der Weihnachtsmann vom Himmel fiel" is based on a novel by Cornelia Funke and was produced by Uschi Reich. Companies Scanline VFX and Farmstudios provided the visual effects work for this Christmas adventure.
The film features two digital characters, who are Christmas gnomes and function as cheerful sidekick characters.
As Animation Director for this project, my first task was to further flesh out the personalities of these two gnomes.
RHEINENERGIE FULL PRODUCTION
Fireflies are little wonders of nature. Their bioluminescence light is extremely energy-efficient as they are able to use 95% of their produced energy. Agency Zum Goldenen Hirschen wanted to make a spot for RheinEnergie which connected this to the company`s plans to save energy and produce it even more efficiently with their program EK2020.
I was assigned by Telemaz Düsseldorf to realize this full CG spot and give it the right kind of mood.
