ABOUT

Tim Weimann aka. Das Dritte D (engl. The Third D). I am a freelance Animation Director, Art Director and 3D Animator in Düsseldorf Germany. I love to transform ideas into moving and thrilling, aesthetic pictures. The third dimension is my workplace and playground. My passion is to design unique new visuals and vibrant motions in 3D that take the viewer to places he has not seen before. I like to scout trends, be up to the moment and help my clients to present their products and messages in the freshest possible way. My main focus lies on the conception and the professional realization of those animated projects on the basis of the client`s objectives.
A well-grounded training in a film school and over 12 years of professional experience in digital animation help me to anticipate problems and face them flexibly without losing sight of the aims of the project. I am not only experienced in directing animation, but also in live action, motion capturing and dubbing. I know how to create Director`s Interpretations, styleframes, moodboards and animatics that are emotional and get the heart of the final film.
