One of the few films I am really fond of having been a part of it is “Bang Boom Bang”. As animator for company Das Werk in Munich I created the scene in which actor Til Schweiger shoots the soccer ball into the most private parts of a member of the opposing team.
Till Schweiger wasn`t the best soccer player at that time or rather were the actions too difficult to perform by an untrained soccer player. So Til just acted like playing the ball and later I integrated a computer generated one.
Man, I was quite an idiot at that time, as the director Peter Torwarth offered to sell me the green Ford Taunus, which was the car the leading actors drove around with. I bed I could have earned a fortune with it on eBay!
Years later I would meet his brother Georg Torwarth at the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg. He became one of the producers of my diploma film “My Date From Hell”.
